Invitiation Letter

Im a Srilankan who wants to go to China as tourist. I went to China Embassy and asked the officer there and they said one of the requirement is getting an invitiation letter from Chinese Tourist Bureau. The officer said I could ask some one in China go to any travel agency and tell them to offer this invitiation letter for me. I would like to know how I can get this letter as I have known no one in China to help me.

Thanks in advance.

Sam

Yes, Sri Lanka citizens do have apply for a tourist visa as a group and with invitation letter from a travel agency in China. In view of your status, I advise you take part in a tour group of a travel company, and then ask the company to provide you the letter.
