Generally, processing at the embassy takes four working days, and you can request rush service if you need. For business visit, you need to provide other basic documents, such as passport, application form, photo. Better prepare a return ticket and hotel reservation if possible.

There is no updated version released by Chinese embassy in Sri Lanka. Here above the documents are general ones worldwide for Chinese business visa application as reference. You can personally contact the embassy directly since the officers there have the final say to your application.
