About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

My ARC expires 9/20/2013. When would I need to apply for my VISA to China?

I would like to visit China the last week of August. Do I have to book my flight and pay for everything 6 months in advance? I won't know my vacation dates from my school until mid July.

Hi, a single entry Chinese tourist visa is valid for 3 months only. The best time for application is one month prior to the departure date. If you will visit China after finishing your study, your ARC will not be able to valid for more than 6 months then. So, if possible, try to apply for a double entry or multiple entry instead.
