what is the shuttle bus fare from jieyang airport to shantou city centre?

how is that compared to taking a taxi? I'm travelling with one other person. How long is the journey by each mode of transport?

Hi, the bus fare from the airport to Shantou is CNY20-22 per person and the whole journey takes about 1h or a little longer.
By taxi, you can reach Shantou in around 50min. The taxi fare should be CNY200.
I suggest you take the shuttle bus, which is very convenient.
