About:Haikou Attractions

Bus from Haikou to Sanya.

I'd like to travel for this journey by bus. Are there any buses that go that route and how long does it take?

Also, are there any other places to stay in Sanya other than hotels or hostels? I want to go for Spring Festival and everyplace seems to be booked already. Maybe a local room to rent or campsite? Thank you in advance.

Yes, you can find buses at South Bus Station and the bus operate from 07:00 to almost 23:00 everyday. The ticket fare is around 78 RMB. About three hours, you can reach Sanya.
Or you can also take the bullet train, which will cost you about an hour and a half to reach Sanya. The ticket fare is about 84 for the second class seat.
For local room, you may need to go to the city and to search by yourself. I think it is hard to live in local people's homes.
