understand harbin in feb will be very cold. how should i dress to feel comfortable?

What about shoes?  Can I just wear the ordinary sports shoes?  Thanks

You need to wear very warm clothes like thick woolen sweater and long down jacket. As for shoes, you'd better wear snow boots or cotton-padded shoes. It is also suugested to bring gloves, mask, hat and scarf.
