Is there truely no hope for a rooster man(May 1957)and a dog woman(Feb. 1958)who love one another?

My ex-husband is on wife#3,an older woman he married for money.He has never left me completely alone in the 10 years since our divorce.He rides by my home constantly,calls and visits.It has been platonic but now he is pressuring me to commit adultery w/him.I can't understand why he was in such a hurry to divorce,but never really let me go.Any insights will be much appreciated!Thank You!
