What is required to get a visa

My brother is in Hong kong for more than ten years.He wanted me to visit him on a holiday and that I will be able see China as well.In this case what is required to obtain a visa.Please advise.

Then, you need to apply for both Chinese tourist visa and a HK visit visa in advance. For HK, you can send the application to your brother and let him handle the application on your behalf. For mailand China visit, you need to apply from Chinese embassy in Sri Lanka. Documents needed are your passport, application form, photo, return ticket, hotel bookings, and financial support if necessary.
