what is the best visa to apply for on a temporary basis

I am back in Australia after working in many cities in China over 12 years, I am now semi retired but will take up Consultant work, what is the best visa to apply for on a temporary basis, can I get 1 entry for 6 months, can I book 1 way trip Australia to China, I have accommodation with Chinese friend

It is impossible to get a single entry for 6 months. The best one for you is multiple business F visa if you take up Consultant work. Your previous China work visas are helpful.
