About:Getting Around Suzhou

Taxi from Suzhou Railway Station to International Education Park South, Whuzhong District

Hi,

Thanks for your help.

Is it reasonable to expect I could arrive in time for an 8 o'clock class in International Education Park South if I took a taxi after arriving at the Railway Station at 7:14?

What might be an estimate of the cost of the taxi?

Thanks

I am afraid it is hard for you to catch your class at 08:00. It takes at least 30 minutes to take a taxi from the train station to the International Education Park and the cost is more than CNY50. You also need some time to get out of the station and wait for a taxi.

Thanks Frank. I drove their today form Nanjing and it took me 2hrs. Probably much like taking the train and taxi will except even with the 250 or so return for train and 100+ return for taxis it will still be cheaper (and more productive) to do it this way. I paid about 400 in fuel and 170 in tolls. Is there not an efficient taxi rank at Suzhou train station? here in Nanjing they all line up right by the exit and they are constant. I fear I may have to leave Nanjing on the 5:15 train (instead of 5:50) in order to arrive in time... ouch
