I'm planing to travel to Sanya in mid January, how are the chances of sun and good weather, wish to be able to take a swim and enjoy warm weather, thanks for the help!

It is cool and comfortable with an average temperature of 20~26C during Jan. There is enjoyable sunshine. If you want to swim, it is advisable to be in the ocean between 11:00-15:00, since the temperature of the sea is cooler during winter mornings and evenings.
