G Train schedule from Shanghai to Guangzhou - several questions

What is the schedule for the new G line from Shanghai to Guangzhou? How long does the trip take and how much does it cost first or second class? How to go to Hong Kong from Guangzhou? How much is this ticket and how long is travel from Guangzhou to Hong Kong?

The new G train is from Beijing to Guangzhou rather than from Shanghai to Guangzhou. To get from Shanghai to Guangzhou, take D one to Wuhan, then G one to Guangzhou. Cost of this routing is CNY 1057/729 for first/second class. Total trip time is 12-13 hours including the stop time in Wuhan. It will take you about 2 hrs from Guangzhou to Hongkong.
