About:Packing Tips for Traveling China

What clothing is appropriate to wear in Beijing, Shanghai, and Xian in the Springtime?

I'm traveling to Beijing, Shanghai, and Xian within ten days near the end of March. I will also be walking an average of 16 km a day. What will the temperature most likely be like? What clothes are appropriate to bring for these activities? I will also be attending a formal dinner at a couple's house in Beijing. What are appropriate formal clothes in China?

Jeans, T-shirts, wind coats are enough for traveling these three places, if you are young guys. If not, I suggest you to take thin sweaters, thin coats and jeans.
For attending a dinner, full dress will be OK. If you just plan to make a visit to that couple and have a dinner in their house instead of a dinner party, you just need to avoid sportswear and wear your neat clothes. Hope you can have a nice trip in China.
