do I need to pay some admission fee to go to the waterfall? It's nice to see the waterfall in these period (25-26 december)?

Yes, the admission fee is about 80 RMB. Gerenally speaking, the best time to visit the waterfall is from July to November. If you go there in Dec., the scenery is still beautiful, but there is less water. It is the dry season for the waterfall.
