renew my residence permit and apply for my husband visa Z and residence permit

My current school is in Nanning, Guanxi. I hold a Z visa (issued in Hong Kong in 2010) and a residence permit that will expire in April 2013. I am going to take another teaching job with another school in Guangzhou in February 2013.
1-What are please all the requiered documents to renew my residence permit?
2-Will guangzhou bureau office ask me to go to hong kong again to have a new z visa since my previous school was in guanxi province? Thank you.
3- My husband is a student in nanning, Guanxi with an X visa that will expire in March 2013. Then he will like to apply for Z visa and residence permit as an accompanying family member. When is the right time for him to start applying for them? What are the requiered documents to apply for a z visa and residence permit? Does he need to go to Hong Kong to get the Z visa?
