i will be arriving in shanghai dec 23. i would like to travel to hangzhou 2 days later.

Question

Is it possible for me to buy tickets at the railway station?  Aside from the trains, what are my other options?  Is there enough time for me to purchased tickets?  Can someone please help with my query?

Hi, James, actually, the best way is by the bullet train. There are many bullet trains running daily from Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station to HZ. Thus, do not worry much about it. You can purchase the train ticket on the leaving day at the train station. For details about the train, you can check the China Train Schedule on this website. You can go to the train station at least 1.5~2 hours earlier to buy the ticket according to its departure time.
