hi i plan to visit gansu from 23 jan to 2 feb, especially tianshui.

reach beijing on 23rd Jan. and plan to take train tu Tianshi. What you can sugest for my trip?

It is cold and dry during that time. The average temperature is about -6~2C.  Well, it takes a very long time by train from Beijing to Tianshui, around one day. I suggest you tale flight from Beijing to Lanzhou and then take train from Lanzhou to Tianshui.
