About:China Visa Exemption

Is a visa required for 48 hours in Shanghai?We plan to travel before Jan 01 2013.

I am a New Zealand passport holder travelling with an Australian passport holder to Shanghai for 48 hrs on business trip.

May I have your itinerary first? Is it New Zealand - Shanghai - New Zealand or New Zealand - Shanghai - Australia? Anyway, if your departure place is the same with the return place, you must have to apply for a visa.
