About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

maximum stay on a multiple entry "L" visa

i am intending to marry my Chinese girlfriend in China in February 2013 but would like to be there with her also when she has our baby in April is it possible for me to stay longer than the 60 days on an "L" visa maybe as long as 6 months

Hi, you can just go to Macao/HK and reenter China to activate the next 60 days. The other option for you is to apply for an extension at local PSB after marriage registration.
