is dec 22 to 25 good time to go to harbin

Hi I am free in beijing from Dec 22 to Dec 25, and thought of going to hrb with my wife and 3 teenage boys. Is it a good time to go there? What activities can we do there that will be open?Also is there any direct flight from Hrb to Shenzhen or Guangzhou?

It is extremely cold during that time. The temperature may be about -24~-15C. You need to wear very warm clothes. However, you may view a wonderful snow landscape there. If possible, you may see some snow and ice sculpture.   There are direct flights to Shenzhen and Guangzhou.
