In this dynasty, many agricultral tools were invented and a large numeber of water conservancy projects were carried out. As a result, the productivity at that time improved a lot and people were not afraid of being hungry due to good harvest.

And during the Song Dynasty, the agricultural areas in Yangtze River and Pearl River were enlarged and at the same time, more kinds of grains were discovered to make great achievement in agriculture.
