Passport validity to enter and depart China & Hong Kong

I am a singaporean and on exchange programme at Hong Kong City University now. i will be travelling to China for a 4 days trip (16 - 19 dec 2012) and return to Hong Kong. My passport will be expired on 4 June 2013 (<6 months). Do I have problem to enter/depart both China & Hong Kong.
