It is not reopened to the public.
You can take bus 970, 980 from Dongzhimen Bus Station to reach Miyun Bus Station and after that, you can find mini-buses for Simatai directly. The whole journey will cost you about three and a half hours.0

Hi,
You say it is not reopened to the public however you give the way to get there. I'm quiet confused, you are saying you can go there on your own but you can't visit the Simatai great wall?...I mean, you can go but is not open for the public, so what would be the reason to go there whether you can not walk on it.
