what is the best way to reach suzhou from Pudong @ 24.00, and what is the best economical place to stay in SZ.

Well, after 24:00, there seems no public transport to SZ from Pudong. The earliest high speed train between the two cities departs around 06:00 from Hongqiao Railway Station. I advise you to stayover night in Shanghai and go to  take the high speed train to SZ next morning. As for economical places to stay, you can choose those budget hotels, such as Home Inn, Hanting Express Inn, and Motel 168.
