About:Hong Kong Travel

First time travel from Hong Kong Intl Airport to Shantou then Shantou to Nan'an to Shanghai

Hi, I will be travelling to China in January arriving on the 15th 2013. I am struggling a little with getting around. We are required to be in Shantou on the night of the 15th, overnighting and heading to Nan'an to be there on the 17th if we can, then we head north to do some site seeing. Would appreciate your assistance

What's your time of arrival at the airport? Well, there is a cross border coach running directly to Shantou from HK airport at 07:00. If you miss this coach, you can take the cross border coach to Luohu Shenzhen first. Then go to Luohu Bus Station to take bus to Shantou. When go to Nan'an, you can take bus from Shantou Bus Station to Quanzhou first and then transfer to bus from Quanzhou to Nan'an. When go to Shanghai from Nan'an, you can back to Quanzhou first, then take bullet train to Shanghai.

Hi Candy, Thanks for your advice :) most appreciated. We have decided to overnight in HK, fly to Shantou on the direct flight the next day, stay the night in Shantou and head out the next day. We'll be going from Shantou to Jinjiang as our next leg of the trip. Any suggestions for that sector??
