travelling in hongkong, from philippines

Hi, im american who wants to travel to hong kong for about 3 days. i'll be traveling from philippines, do i need a tourist visa? I also want to bring along my boyfriend who is a filipino citizen, he has a philippines passport but does he also need one for hong kong? if so, what are the requirements from both of us?

No visa is required for both of you to visit HK for this trip, but you should better prepare and show immigration officers your return ticket and hotel reservation.
