Hi, a charted car may take 1-1.5h and costs CNY400 or more from the airport to Stone Forest.
By bus, you can take bus no. 103 from the airport to the local East Bus Staion to take a bus to the Stone Forest County in 2.5h. Then you can catch a local public bus to the scenic area. For the whole journey, you may spend about CNY30. Well, the first bus departs at 07:00.
It is convenient to take a train. You will arrive at Stone Forest Railway Station, which is only about 4km from the scenic area. The train ticket for a hard seat is CNY17-19. You can get there in around 2h by train.
You can find three hotels in the scenic area - Stone Forest Hotel, Bishu Garden Hotel and Yun Lin Hotel. Near the entrance of the scenic area, you may find Stone Forest Tianqi Ashima Hotel and Xingya Fengqing Garden Hotel, both of which are a little expensive with very good service and facilities.
Three hours is suggested for the scenic area visiting.
The entrance fee is CNY175 for all the scenic spots and children can get 50% discount.
Actually, the scenery along the way from the airport to the scenic area is pleasant, you can enjoy it. But not a very pleasant attraction deserves a visit.
