About:Mount Huashan

Visit hua Shan

Is it possible to visit the mountain in one day and return to xian on the same day? What time is the earliest to this mountain and last bus to xian?

Well, probably. If you plan to finish it in one day, you need take the cable car up and down the mountain. And up there, you cannot cover all the scenic spots.
I suggest you go there in the early morning.
And the first bus there departs at 07:00 and th last one back is at 17:00.

Thanks Fanny. Is there a guide / directions to indicate the way? Would I get lost? Involves a lot of walking up the steps? I do not intend to cliff climbing. I have knee problems that I cannot walk steps too much

Hi, don't worry! You will not get lost for there are direction signs along the way both in Chinese and English.
I'm afraid you may feel it a little difficult to walk 'cause many steps are there including a long flat route, though, you will use the cable car.
