About:China Great Wall

I am planning to go to the Mutianyu Great wall from Beijing on December 8, 2012,

What is the cheapest way to go there? I am also thinking about going to Jinshanling Great Wall or Simatai..
What is the best and cheapest way to to go there?

BTW, simatai was closed for maintainance in 2010, and hasn't opened to the public yet.
