Is it possible to renew my passport here to aid me renew my visa as well?

I'm living and working here in China. My Passport expires February but my contract ends next year August. Is it possible to renew my passport here to aid me renew my visa as well? Is possible, how long will it take, please? It's very urgent.

yes, you can renew your passport here, you need to visit your embassy personally. Please refer to the embassy's website for the details.
