Please advise :an elder buddhist to visit Wu Tai Shan

Hi, you can fly from N.Y. to Beijing first. Then you can take the direct bus or train to the holy mountain. Bus can be taken at Beijing Liuliqiao Bus Station and train can be caught at the local Railway Station.
As for accommodation, you can stay at Wufeng Hotel or Shengtai Holiday Hotel. Both of them are only several kms from the temples. Or you can live in the temple directly, where some rooms are provided for visitors. It is cheaper and more convenient for you.
