About:China Customs Declaration

CNY renminbi declaration when entering China

I believe that when entering China up to 60,000 or even 80,000 RMB need not be
declared. Is this true?

After posting, I found the answer on the internet. Previously a traveler was allowed to bring in 6,000 renminbi without a declaration. According to the latest rules, it is now 20,000
renminbi
