Guangzhou airport to taojin

how do i get from the airport to taojin station. how long will the trip approximately take and what will it cost me.

From the airport, you can take subway line 3 to Jiahewanggang and transfer to subway line 2 to Guangzhou Railway Station. Then take subway line 5 to Taojin Station. It takes about 50 minutes and costs CNY12.

what abt changing at zhujiang instead. Is that longer. Also are the trains very crowded at 7 or 8 am. Also how much would a cab approximately cost from the airport to taojin.

Do you mean Zhujiang New Town MTR Station? Certainy yes. It can be more convenient to Taojin Station. You are right that during 07:00-08:00, the MTR will be very crowed 'cause it is the rush hour for work class.
At that time, if you take a taxi, it may cost CNY120 or more.
