About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

Transit visa to transit through Beijing airport(PEK)

i will be flying from Toronto to Phuket via Beijing . My connecting time in Beejing will be three hours. Do i need a Chinese transit visa ?Will i have to collect my luggages and pass through customs in Beejing?

Don't worry, you are not required visa for direct transit. The airlines will handle your luggages.
