Baby to Chinese citizen

Hi, My wife is Chinese and we have a baby that was born in China one year ago but holds Swedish passport.
In Sweden he got a Multiple L-visa with 90 days stay on each entry. He will however stay with his mother in China
for more than 90 days. Can we get a temporary residence permit here in China instead?
If so, can you please explain in Chinese how to proceed and for how long time, 1 year or 2 year, we can apply.

Looking forward to your answer, thank you!

Hi Kallr, you can get his L visa extended in China at the Exit-Entry Administration. It is easy for him with brith certificate and passport. However, officers have the final say to the duration of visa.
