How's Jiuzhaigou weather in 13-18 April 2013? Any local festival around that time? TQ.

It is a bit cold during April. The temperature has a big difference between day and night. If you go there, you need to take a warm coat. Ultraviolet radiation is strong during that time. Thus, suntan oil is needed. I just know Mazihui will be held on 24, April, 2013 which is an important local festival there.

Q1. Hire a taxi from airport to Jiuzhaigou and along the way visit Huanlong scenic spot. Is it advisable to leave our baggages with the taxi driver? If NOT, what will be the other option available if we wanted to cover both JZG and Huanlong during our visit?

Q2. Go from Chengdu to JZG during winter by plane. Was told that when weather is bad most flighst will be cancelled, would it happen in April?

Hi, generally, it can be safe enough to leave the luggage with the taxi driver. But if you also plan to go back to the airport, you can store your luggage at the airport in case.
Yeah, some planes may be cancled due to the bad weather, but it hardly happen during April. So just take it easy.
