About:Luxury Cruise Sailing Date (2013 Down)

Trains and buses to Great Wall in December

I would like to ask how often the trains and buses go. I read elsewhere that during the winter there are only couple of trains a day. Does anyone know what the frequency and timetable would be at the beginning of December? My other option would be the buses, are there any changes regarding their time schedule? Thanks to anyone who can clarify this matter for me.

Well, I never heard that. As I know, the train schedule doesn't change much during the winter. It is usually the same as it in summer unless under a worse weather. As for bus, you can take the 919 express bus. It operates from 06:30 to 12:00 from Deshengmen to Badaling and from 11:00 to 16:30 from Badaling to Deshengmen in the winter.

OK, thank you very much. I'll probably go to one of these ticket offices to ask if they know anything or simply take the bus, which might actually be easier and safer.
