You have to ask your BF to provide an invitation letter, copies of his Chinese ID card or his passport & residence permit, his bankstatement of recent 6 months.
You yourself have to prepare your passport that should have more than 6 months validity and over 2 balnk pages, fulfilled application form, photocopy of the original passport's information/photo page and the page containing the previous Chinese visa.2

Hi selina. Tnx for your reply. I forgot to mentioned that my bf is a filipino. What you have mentioned will also applicable to him or there is other requirements for him to present in the embassy? Tnx0
