About:China Customs Declaration

Can I take topical cream small jars for scars which contain inert ingredients to China?

The cream itself , called Sebo de Macho, is not the problem but the quantity could be. I'm bringing for my niece 100 small jars of this cream because it's hard to find in US and can only be bought in Philippines. Would this be considered commercial quantity and might be mistaken to be sold in China?

I know this product, which can be used pharmacy ingredients or as cosmetic. No matter what kind of usage, there is a limitation on this product. If the product is treated as cosmetic, the price of your total products cannot be over 5000 RMB. If this product is treated as medicine, you cannot too much. The amount of the products is enough for seven days' usage. Sometimes, the custome will ask you for a prescription.
In a word, you had not better take so much. Maybe 10 to 20 jars are OK.
