f with one single entry to china

Question

I am a EU citizen living in China and having an F visa which allows me one single entry into the country. So if i wanna go to Thailand and then back to China again, I should have with me an invitation letter, go to the chinese embassy in Thailand and issue another F there. Do you think this will be possible? And if yes, how many working days I should wait for it and how much is the fee? Also, do i need a visa to enter Thailand?

No, it is not easy for you to get a visa from Thailand if you are temporarily visit there. According to the regulation, you should apply for it from Greece. But as I know, it is easy for you to get one from HK.

Thanks for your reply :) However, as it seems on the official website it can be done!!Anyway, let me ask you something more. Can I travel from Hong Kong to Bangkok and then from Bangkok to Hong Kong and issue an F visa there??

Anyway, it you have valid Thai visa, you can have a try to apply there. It is ok for you to apply in HK as you said above.

My thai visa will be issued upon arrival at Thai airport. But can i apply for an F visa in Hong Kong on the way back from Thailand?
