which section of the great wall is worthy a visit?

HI, I will go to beijing on 1 dec, i m planning go to great wall on 2dec. i m picking which part of the great wall i should go. i don't want to go to Badaling... too many tourists. I m thinking mutianyu  great wall, or simatai. Or can you suggest any other one? and how long it will travel from the wukesong Areana area to mutiangu great wall.  You know what will it cost around if i hire a taxi driver bring me around that area? Hows the weather during that time on the wall.... crazy freezing?

Well, I think Mutianyu Great Wall is a nice choice, but it will be very cold on 1 Dec. It may have ice and snow. You should be careful. Pay attention to the weather forecast and prepare warm clothes like downjacket and wool sweater. Antiskid shoes are better. If the weather is worse, you'd better do not go there.  If you hire a taxi to the area, it takes around 1.5 hours and costs around CNY600.
