huangshan grotto

Question

After touring hongcun, I intend to stay at any inn/hotel just outside Hongcun. Is it easy to get a hotel room in mid Dec and is there any hotel near or just outside hongcun village? The next day, how do I go from hongcun to huangshan grotto by bus and how long is needed to tour the grotto? After the grotto, what is the best way to proceed straight to either Suzhou or wuxi (three kingdom city)? thks in advance.

Yes, you can still find a hotel at that time, but there is not hotels outside of it, so it is suggested to stay in it. The next day, there are buses at Nanhu Bus Station inside of the Hongcun depaturing at 6:50 and 9:30. It is the time table in the peak season, so I advise you to ask the local hotel staff to get the exact time of the buses.About an hour later, you can reach the Yellow Mountain.There are direct busesto reach Suzhou directly at 06:10 and 09:50, but no buses to reach Wuxi. You can reach Suzhou first and change buses to reach Wuxi.
