Hi, near SH, maybe Qixia Muountain in Nanjing can be a good choice to view the red leaves.
Among other places, Beijng and Xian can be good choices for you to enjoy the autumn leaves.
In Beijing, you can go to the Fragrant Hill to enjoy the red leaves. But if you can reach there a little earlier, you will be amazed. The Red Leaves Festival ends on 11th, Nov.
For Xian, you can view the beautiful leaves at Qinling Mountains, Zhuque National Forest Park and of course Mt. Hua.
