About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

health check...

Hi there. i have all the papers from my employer to apply a Z visa, and i will be going back to the uk soon, but the HR mananger told me i have to get the health check in china before i apply for it in the uk!! is this true? and how much does the health check cost as i will be paying.......

As I know the fee for medical check is RMB 446. It may differ in different city. You'd better do this at local Entry-exit inspection and Quatantine Bureau.

can i just go to a hospital and get it done there before i go back to the uk?

No, if you want to do this in a hospital, the hospital must be appointed by Entry-Exit Bureau. You'd better ask the HR manager for this list of hospitals or suggestion.
