About:Chinese Consulates in Japan

Exactly what I need to do

I'm an American living and working in Oita, Japan, with a Alien Registration card. I need a double entry visa for China and I am closest to Fukuoka. Where can I find out exactly what I need to do and how much everything will cost? Also, since I don't live in Fukuoka can they mail my passport back to me or can I pay to have it done in one day?

Thanks,
Josie

Hi Josie, you need to apply through a local travel agency for a visa to China. Documents needed are your passport with enough blank pages, Certificate of alien registration with the period of more than half a year, One recently taken, bareheaded, full-faced photo and a Chinese hotel reservation certificate and a two-way air ticket. Visa fee is 15,000 Yen. You can contact an agency for the latest information. As I know, the consulate does not offer one days service or mail back service.
