About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

Is a visa require for a 24hr stopover on route to destination

Hi, my daughter is travelling to india and will be stopping over for 24hrs in Shanghai and will need to stay in a hotel outside the airport, will she require a visa to leave the airport for this time

If she travel with Australian passport, visa is not required for this transit in Shanghai.
