About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

Is a visa required for a one day lay over

My wife and I are Canadian citizens. We are returning to canada from Sydney Australia via Shanghai Pu Dong. We are on March 25, 2013 at 17:20 and leave on March 26 at 18:50. Is a visa required?

visa is not required for one day layover. You can also go out of the airport to the city.
