About:Chinese Consulate in Brisbane
I am going to a conference in Beijing. Do I need vaccinations? I am not going anywhere else...

I just want to be certain they will not ask me to fligh back to Australia because I have no record of vaccination...

No vaccines are required for China. But many immunizations are recommended before traveling to China especially if you will plan to stay for a period of time longer than 3 months. Routine immunizations should be up to date.
