About:Shantou Attractions

Hot Spring in Shantou

I will be there at Luoyang, Xigong District. Middle Zhongzhou Road on Nov 2 staying at Golden Gulf Hotel.
What is the weather like at this time and is there any good local teochew food that you can recommend?
Also is there any hot spring near this hotel? Any shopping mall

It is hard to tell you the exact climate this year, but according to the previous records, the averaget temperature at that time is about 23 to 24C and you can wear summer clothes.
For the local food, the Golden Lotus Hall in your hotel is a good place to go. It is convenient and easy to find.
The nearest hot spring is the Dongshanhu Hot Spring Resort, which is about 2 kilometers away from your hotel. You can take a taxi to reach directly.
Your hotel is in a prosperous place. There is a Nanguo Shopping Mall on Changping East Road at the back of your hotel and Parkson Shopping Center also there. You can walk there but you need to ask the hotel staff to tell you the exact direction to reach.

Its location is quite good, at a main road. The room is clean and the hotel staff is friendly. And it is convenient to walk to the shopping area. But I met people touting for business at the lobby.
