I am sorry that according to the zodiac, it may not be a good pair. If you want to stay together, you need to commited to each other.
Ox like a quiet life and relaxing atomsphere, but horse want to enjoy the challenge life and love adventure. This is the biggest difference between them. If you can solve the problem, you can live a happy life.

So funny to me because I'm the outgoing ox who loves to travel and enjoys the social scene and he's a creature of habit horse. The libra/leo zodiac fits us a but better. We're 7 years in, but thank you. I was just curious

Chinese astrology is just a reference, which is very similar to the constellation. It is not always true. Since you have a wonderful life, that is very important and fine. I hope you will have more happy days in the future.

Jennifer - thank you for your time and answering my question. I think astrology is interesting so I just wondered. I'm no psychic, and I can't predict the future but I pray we make it last, and trust me, we have issues like every relationship but I am always wishing for the best. Thank you

Jennifer,

I'm an Ox born in the hour of the horse. This adds an element of spontaneity and adventure to me that I think balances out the more traditional aspects of the Ox. Like Western astrology, Eastern astrology factors in variables around time of birth, season, and so on.

Question for others on the site that are more expert in this topic --- Say that someone has the rising (hour of birth) that aligns with a sign that is not specifically compatible how does this influence the overall dynamic of the relationship?

Thanks and best to all.

On a side note, I'm and Ox involved with a Rat. So far, so good.

Actually, according to the Chinese astrology, the zodiac sign is decided by the birth date. But the personality specifically described is just summerized based on a large number of people, not all.
As for the influence you metioned, I do not think the sign or the compatibility has any great inflence on our life. Just for fun or encouragement, we see it to catch a better and promising life.
